Long. Parts of it were moving. Wil Smith's kid is damn cute. I wanted to see less hardship and more happyness. Like, I wanted to see how they were after the guy got his dream job. I wanted to see the nice house and car and... well... happyness!

No crying moments.

Actually, the trailer to the movie moved me more than the actual movie itself.

Cute. Well done. I loved it! And the "awwwwww factor" was there in abundance. Fern was as cute as a button. Wilber? I wanted to take him home! Even Charlotte was cute, if that is even possible.

The one problem I had with the movie was the introduction of a small love interest between Fern and a boy at school. I know it just shows how things are in constant flux, but it didn't need to be there. I especially do not think Fern would have left Wilbur when he was getting his medal to go off with that boy.

But... besides that? A wonderful movie.

We both cried, of course.

Long. Boring. Kind of like the book only the book was more boring. If there wasn't a hint of a good story in the midst of long and boring dialogue, I wouldn't have gone to the movie (or continued reading the book).

It looked like the movie producers borrowed the scraps of the set to LOTR. I expected the Hobbits to show up at any given moment.

The baby dragon was very cute, though.

Last night, we went to see The Goo Goo Dolls and Counting Crows at Mohegan Sun.

First of all, I never thought I liked The Goo Goo Dolls as much as I do. I knew most of the songs that they played... I really didn't think I knew so many of their songs. When they played songs off the new album, the only one I knew was Give A Little Bit... but I didn't even know it was a Goo Goo Doll's song. *shrugs* I don't really do much research before seeing a concert. When the lead singer was singing, the band rocked hard... but when the other guy started singing... oof. Let's just say that he shouldn't sing. Ever.

Now, the Counting Crows, kicked some ass. I've loved them since 1994 and I've never seen them in concert. Go figure, right? They played a great set, with a lot from August and Everything After. They also did Miami and closed with Holiday in Spain from Hard Candy. I'm not sure why I waited so long to see them live, but I really want to always catch them when they come back on tour.

I had never been to the venue before and I must say that it was pretty nice. We were far up and we still had a great view of the stage and we weren't so far away that the bands looked like ants.

All in all, a great concert.
